Addressing gun regulation, changes to policing, the homeless crisis, the future of our transportation system and so much more
America is a country divided. Pulled apart by different visions of who and what we are as a country. As a nation we are strongest when we are united in solidarity. Absolutely peerless in the world. Indomitable. Our fierceness, measured by our steadfast conviction in equality, freedom and liberty and our profound sense of moral decency in not only ourselves but our expectations of the world at large.
The conflicts we face here in the US and throughout the world keep escalating. America cannot afford to be dividied. We face geoplitical and economic pressures from all fronts. Nor can we ignore the radical groups that seek to destabilize and destroy the nation from both within and without.
We need to unite. The world needs a strong america. And we are strongest when we stand together, as one nation, one country, indivisible. Let us rise beyond our dissents. Our only obstacle, ourselves. All we need is a direction, a way forward. An idea, a thought that charges our imagination, awakens our civic consciousness. That fires our conviction and commitment for change, to change.
Let us not fall into the trap of indecision, but take up that heavy mantle of responsibility not just for ourselves and our nation but the world as well. Let us be Americans, true red blooded Americans once more.
